Chief Accountant

Our business is concentrated in five main categories – diagnostic tests, diagnostic devices, respiratory care, nutritional supplements and medicines, in which we are represented by leading world brands such as Selenogin, Fenaxon, Stamatin, Surecheck, Sendo, etc.

Due to our business expansion, we are looking for an Chief Accountant to join our great team of professionals!

Key responsibilities:

  • Manages and organizes the company’s accounting team;
  • Prepares declarations, diaries, etc., in accordance with the VAT Act;
  • Communicates with tax, state authorities, banks, etc.;
  • Prepares annual and interim financial reports, signs and submits all required reports from the NSI, BNB and other institutions.
  • Participates in inspections and audits by public institutions;
  • Participates in the development of the company’s internal acts;
  • Actively assists in the audit of the company – maintains correspondence with auditors and provides the documents requested by them;
  • Timely provides financial and accounting information to the relevant levels of management;
  • Identifies problems and makes proposals for their resolution;
  • Assists in planning, budgeting and control of financial resources;
  • Assists and participates in operational accounting activities – creation and work with primary and secondary accounting documents;
  • Performs other duties related to his/her position and competencies;

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Minimum 5+ years professional experience in accounting;
  • Proven successful experience as a head of an accounting team – minimum 2 years;
  • In-depth understanding of national regulations;
  • Skills for working with an ERP system are considered an advantage;
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of specialized accounting software.
  • Experience in international or multinational companies is considered an advantage;
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Good level of English – written and spoken;
  • Skills for working within deadlines in a dynamic work environment;
  • Adaptability, proactivity and result orientation;
  • Skills for teamwork and independent problem solving;
  • Confidentiality, analytical skills, precision, high level of organization and prioritization of tasks;
